How we support your baby (and you)
Caring for infants is deeply personal, and our team partners closely with families to support each child’s unique needs and routines.
We provide thoughtful, individualized care including sleep support, bottle feeding, and guidance through the introduction of solids — all tailored to your preferences and your child’s development.
Brella also makes the day-to-day easier for families. We provide diapers from Kudos, wipes, and linens, so you can focus on your child, not the logistics.
Emerging skills we nurture
Social-Emotional Development
Building trust, connection, and confidence through nurturing care and strong relationships with educators.
Language & Communication
Developing early language through conversation, songs, stories, everyday interactions, and early Spanish exposure beginning in our older toddler classrooms.
Mobility & Motor Development
Strengthening coordination, balance, and body awareness through crawling, walking, climbing, and active play.
Cognitive Discovery & Sensory Exploration
Encouraging curiosity and early problem-solving as children explore their environment and experiment with new experiences.
Learning in Action
Reflective Space!
A space-themed sensory experience invited infants to explore light, movement, and reflection through books, music, and mirrored materials. They watched, reached, and interacted with objects, beginning to notice how their actions created changes. This gentle exploration supported curiosity, coordination, and early cause-and-effect understanding.
Learning Outcomes
- Social-Emotional Development: Engagement, curiosity
- Language & Communication: Listening, vocalizing
- Mobility & Motor Development: Reaching, grasping
- Cognitive Discovery & Sensory Exploration: Cause and effect, sensory awareness
Light and Leaves
A leaf investigation on a floor-level light table encouraged infants to explore texture, color, and light. They reached, grasped, and moved toward the glowing surface, engaging their senses through touch and movement. This experience supported growing mobility and awareness of their environment.
Learning Outcomes
- Social-Emotional Development: Engagement, exploration
- Language & Communication: Attention, vocalizing
- Mobility & Motor Development: Crawling, reaching
- Cognitive Discovery & Sensory Exploration: Sensory exposure, visual tracking
Ramp and Roll!
A ramp and rolling setup gave infants opportunities to explore motion using toy trucks, tubes, and adjustable slopes. They pushed and released objects, watching how movement changed with height and angle. Through active play, they built coordination and early understanding of how things move.
Learning Outcomes
- Social-Emotional Development: Engagement, persistence
- Language & Communication: Attention, gestures
- Mobility & Motor Development: Pushing, coordination
- Cognitive Discovery & Sensory Exploration: Cause and effect, motion exploration
